How to get started

Call our office at 586-468-2266. One of our friendly front office staff will ask you some questions to determine payment and type of treatment to set up an appointment with a therapist who accepts your insurance/funding. You will be offered an intake appointment within seven days. We will ask you to complete some paperwork prior to your appointment (located on the Documents page). At the intake appointment, you will spend approximately 45-90 minutes with a therapist who will advise you of your rights and responsibilities, program framework, and services offered, and answer any questions. You will then discuss the problems that brought you to treatment and complete a brief screening. If it is determined that treatment at Clinton Counseling Center can help you meet your goals, then you will schedule another appointment.
